Marina Bay, Singapore. Not the best of my fireworks photos. The thick smoke just killed the visibility. Kinda disappointed with myself not to get a decent photo of the fireworks. Due to the thick smoke, I decided to just record the video of the fireworks using my Nikon D7000 + 16-35mm lens. Here's the link to the fireworks video: [link] (part 1) and [link] (part 2). In between the 2 videos was one of this still images. Have a great new year all!.

Really Good!
To be honest I think the smoke adds some realism to the shots also,
Makes me feel like I was actually there watching the fireworks!

Thank you!. But to tell you the truth, I'm a bit disappointed because the thick smoke is quite a distraction. It would have looked better without it. Nothing much that I can do about it. :)

The picture looks different to us Viewers than you because you were there and you clicked it.

I found even the smoke beautiful. It adds more realism to it.

I guessed you're right. But the atmosphere was simply great and electrifying as always!. And the booming sound that came from the fireworks are also as always...awesome!. Thanks again though. :)
