Film photography. It's still alive. Although it's been a rarity that I went about taking photos using an SLR camera. But still, I do brought my SLR camera out once in awhile for that nostalgic feel. Film photography is in a league of it's own.

Camera: Nikon FM2n SLR
Lens: Nikkor AFD 28mm f/2.8
Film: ISO 200 Fujifilm REALA

THE COLORS!!! O.O

Thanks. Colors aren't adjusted. Actually...the image wasn't edited at all. Only resize for web viewing. WYSIWYG. Using film can be a fun experienced. You'll be more thoughtful and patience before taking the shots.

OH yea you have to be. That or you will waste all of the film, and that will get expensive...

You got that right!. Understanding the techniques of photography is critical. It's 100% or the film will go to waste. And yes too!. Once wasted it'll get expensive. Got to give my dad credits for teaching me the proper techniques of taking photos using film based camera when I was a kid. :D

Nice photograph! Still remember my analog film times. Though personally I do not remember them as the "good ol' times" ;) Did cost way too much money and too many opportunities were missed. (Although I do have to admit that I put a lot more thought into the pictures before I actually took the photo those days...)

But back to this picture! It's really nicely lit, the colors could be a bit more intense, but it does have a very natural feel to it this way. Extra points for getting this done so beautifully with an analog camera. Great work!

Thank you!. You said it right on the mark. With analog photography, putting more thoughts into the pictures before pressing the shutter is very important. Framing, composition, exposure takes precedence as compared to digital photography. That's the beauty of shooting film/slides. And then the wait and anticipation for the roll of negs going through it's development process in the photo lab darkroom. :D

ANyways, I tried to have the colors as natural as it is. Don't really want it to be intense. But thanks for the kind comments!. Appreciate it!. :)
