Well, it's more than 2 years I went to the New Year's Eve countdown. All packing and ready to go. I've less than 6 hours to find a vantage point and camp out till 12 AM. Hopefully nobody is going to throw m into the Marina Reservoir before the Fireworks start because when there's an overwhelming crowd, I start to get all tense up and can easily lose my temper with some inconsiderate people. So, here's hoping for the best!.

A sad day for the entire family today
One of my uncle from my mother's side passed away earlier in the morning today due to a work related accident.
And to my friends who I haven't replied to your comments, my apologies. There's too much going on in real life lately. I'll try to reply to all of them as best I could.

The haze situation
As of today 21st June at 9 AM, it just got worst. PSI level is at Hazardous again. Visibility is terrible too. About 500 meters. This is very very bad and depressing to look at. Gloomy and smoky all over.
Comet PANSTARRS C/2011 L4 is almost in sight
Yup, I've been waiting for Comet PANSTARRS for a very long time. And from calculations, Singapore is one of the few places here in the southern hemisphere to view the Comet on the 10th - 11th of March where it's at perihelion. And it should be just about visible with the unaided eye right now. BUT!. Yeah, there's always a but, being Singapore and near the equator, the sky is mostly covered by thick clouds like throughout the year. So, since the 20th of February, the sky is blanket by thick clouds. And I'm very disappointed. I've been wantig to photograph my very first Comet photo. Missed Comet McNaught back then.
